Cozumel
We had a gorgeous day in Cozumel today! Teresa & Paige snorkeled and saw a lot of fish and a Baracuda the size of Paige we heard. More on all that later. Lindsay and I have been writing the blog but have not had any luck moving it from Word to here. The kids had fun swimming at the beach and when we got back Daddy had arrived and they were happy to see him. More hopefully tomorrow if we can figure out how to copy this over. We are in Roatan tomorrow at 10 AM. So far the cruise has been good but Paige was sick Easter Sunday and had to go to the infirmary and Lindsay has had terrible problems with her allergies and has had a sun rash that has really bothered her.

Everyone looked lovely in their Easter finery. Did they do an egg hunt on Sunday? Did Freddy stop by for a visit? I missed him when Nancy and Diane and I sailed last year. I hope Lindsay and Paige are feeling better. I'm off to Dollywood later today, which is not nearly as exciting as cruising the high seas. Have fun!

Easter Sunday, April 4th
ReplyDeleteThe Easter Bunny came last night while we were asleep and left candy and goodie bags for the kids. Poor Paige is sick this morning and Teresa had to take her down to the doctor. Lindsay did the Easter egg hunt which was cute as it really was a scavenger hunt and they had a map and had to find the Camp Carnival bunnies at various places on the ship so we were up, down and all over the ship getting candy and then they had a little dance party afterwards and the Easter Bunny was there. He spent some time on deck visiting and getting photos with the kids. Paige got to see him this afternoon when she was feeling a bit better and we told her we saw him this morning. She wanted to know if the bunny we saw had a zipper on his back! I about peed my pants over that one as did Debbie. The kids all did the Drainpipe and Twister and Racer Slides and loved every minute of it. It is wall to wall kids here on the Carnival Dream and all 4500 people on this ship were on the Lido deck this afternoon. Debbie and I came back to the cabin to escape the mania and get a head start on getting ready for elegant night. We had a nice dinner and Lindsay, Debbie and I went to the show which was a country show and not good but Lindsay liked it. We are back in the cabin having tea and the kids are having hot chocolate. We are getting our things ready for our arrival in Cozumel in the morning. Stay tuned for our adventures.
I'm glad to see that Pleepleus had a good time in Cozumel...I hope you didn't let him drink too much. You know how he gets...LOL
